A Child's Sadness
I am sad, so very sad
More sad than I can say
I want to run about
To sing, to dance, to play
But I cannot
So I am sad, so very sad
More sad than I can say
I want to smile and to laugh
And wipe the tears away
But I cannot
So I am sad, so very sad
But more I cannot say

You pearce the heart with this piece. We often forget that children hear and see, but to verbalize at a young age can be difficult. Comfort, hugs, understanding, and love sometimes says more. Beautiful and heartfelt...
Be always safe,
Karen |
