It was 85 Degrees Yesterday,

And Time For a Little Party

“Properly trained,

A man can be,

Dog’s best friend.”

Corey Ford

Music:  Garden Party

We hosted a pool party

For some canine friends

They all seemed to love it

We’ll certainly do it again

Little Jumpin Jack was there

And, of course, good old Tater

We knew our neighbor, Snowball

Would join in the fun, sooner or later

Canines soon began arriving from all around

It seems that all the Party Animals were there

Turbo even brought his favorite Rubber Ducky

There was now splishin & splashin, everywhere

Shadow, our once feral and homeless canine

Absolutely loved playing in our doggy pool

And, this was old Scruffy’s very first Pool Party

He soon decided that this event was very cool

And over in the corner, down by the old fence

Much to their utter amazement and big surprise

Old Fat Louie, a feline, who really loves to party

Was eatin all their dog biscuits, wearin a disguise!

We just hosted a little pool party,

For some of our canine friends;

They all seemed to really love it,

And I know we’re gonna do it again.

Properly trained,

A man can definitely be,

A dog’s best friend.

What fun for all the canines..and even Fat Louie! Wish more of mankind would be easily-trained. rather than brain-dead! Happy Pool Party! :-)
