I think children have a capacity for hope far beyond ours as adults. Not yet jaded by the harsh realities of adult life, children can hold on to hope with faith that is much stronger than we realize. This is a fantastic story! Thanks for sharing it with us Mr. Ed! Welcome home Cujo!

OH how beautiful and sweet this write is...I loved it! I had a cat that disappeared, he was a housecat and a wonderful friend. He got outside one day and well I never saw him again...until...weeks and weeks later my brother who lived about five miles from us told my mom about a cat that had just decided to move in at house. She gave me the description and I went to see for myself, it was Sebastian, I took him home, he got out again, and went back to my brothers house, this happened about four times, I finally gave up and let my brother have him. He wasn't a housecat, he was a farm cat and was in love with a big yellow tabby cat that lived in my brothers barn....
great write, enjoyed it!
Blessings,
Joyce Bowling |

Ed,
This poem touched me very deeply. I have a dog named Blackie that I adore! If something happened to him it would be like losing a child. He's my baby and I love him very much. I'm glad this had a happy ending for Kayla and her family. She never lost hope that Cujo would be found. Miracles do happen. Thanks for sharing, Ed.
