Questions, questions and more questions. STOP IT. I can’t take it anymore.

It’s way too often, and  when it is,

it overwhelms me, your nonstop quiz.

You push for answers, and they push me.

Stop asking questions, it robs my glee.

Your need to know things, in your own way,

just drives me crazy, I have to say.

Your own agenda, is not my goal,

go find your answers, not in my soul.

The world has choices, remove my place,

go find the others, for your disgrace.

Stop asking questions, I want no more.

On this relation, I close the door.

Nice one Mike! No one likes to be interrogated, especially when the interrogator gets too personal. You have captured the feeling well! Vasu.

When our significant other is asking questions, it is a signal that something is wrong with them. They are either really insecure, or they are the one doing what the questions are all about...If they are doing whatever it is then they think the other person is too...simple...

You are right to walk out, the questions will never end otherwise.

Much peace, love and light,

Amber

This poem really has a strong message - and I bet my son would like to repeat the context of your poem to me. I have a tendency to "want to know" too, where he is concerned and I really have to monitor what I say to him because he gets defensive and tells me I don't have to know EVERYTHING. He's right, of course.

This is a good write.
