Either a win or loss for the Denver Broncos tonight, there is a spiritual battle going on in the world of NFL football. Like him, or hate him Tim Tebow has brought his faith in God into the limelight of the secular media. There is an old saying that I have always liked and this is what Tebow does. “BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE”.
Though I have never been much of a fan for the Denver Broncos, I will be pulling for the UNDERDOG Broncos tonight. Even if they lose tonight, impressions have been indelibly engraved in the hearts and minds of many. In my opinion in this day of high profile players Mr. Tebow sets a positive role model for the youth of this nation and the world. Below are some interesting facts about Tim Tebow…for you see…God does not make mistakes.
Pam's Story
In a recent email, I read about a woman named Pam, who knows the pain of considering abortion. More than 24 years ago, she and her husband Bob were serving as missionaries to the Philippines and praying for a fifth child. Pam contracted amoebic dysentery, an infection of the intestine caused by a parasite found in contaminated food or drink. She went into a coma and was treate...d with strong antibiotics before they discovered she was pregnant.
Doctors urged her to abort the baby for her own safety and told her that the medicines had caused irreversible damage to her baby. She refused the abortion and cited her Christian faith as the reason for her hope that her son would be born without the devastating disabilities physicians predicted. Pam said the doctors didn't think of it as a life, they thought of it as a mass of fetal tissue.
While pregnant, Pam nearly lost their baby four times but refused to consider abortion. She recalled making a pledge to God with her husband: If you will give us a son, we'll name him Timothy and we'll make him a preacher.
Pam ultimately spent the last two months of her pregnancy in bed and eventually gave birth to a healthy baby boy August 14, 1987. Pam's youngest son is indeed a preacher. He preaches in prisons, makes hospital visits, and serves with his father's ministry in the Philippines. He also plays football. Pam's son is Tim Tebow.
The University of Florida's star quarterback became the first sophomore in history to win college football's highest award, the Heisman Trophy. His current role as quarterback of the Denver Broncos has provided an incredible platform for Christian witness.

Tim Tebow and God
Hut..hut, blue 49…wide right on three.
29 seconds and 63 yards to victory.
Naysayers scream out loud at the top of their lungs.
Yet win or lose his thanks will still be to God when the day is done.
Talking heads mock him as he kneels down in thanks and prayer.
Yet the hearts and minds of many have been touched because he’s there.
Believe or not, that is entirely up to the individual of the person of you.
But God works in mysterious ways to bring His message of salvation though.
Yes, oh yes…win tonight, or even lose.
Tebow carries God’s message to you.
For God so loved the world….(John 3:16)

Hallelujah, Amen! Mr. Tebow is one of those rare Christians who is openly unashamed of the LORD, before mankind.. ergo, we can know that GOD and His holy angels take notice of him! Glory to the Holy One!
And I, take notice of YOU, my dear Bubba, that from the moment you emerged victorious, delivered by the hand of The Almighty - refined by the fire of radiation treatments - that it has become incumbent upon you to "GET THE TRUTH OUT!"
And you do it with such Excellence, it is easy to see His hand upon you now, too!
Carry on, Good Soldier of The Cross!
Love & Blessings, Sis

| Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! What a testimony. Thank you for sharing this. God triumphs! Regardless of who wins football games. He is honored much more by our humble acknowledgment of his grace, mercy, love, power, and forgiveness, than he is by proud displays of manliness, in any regard. Still and all it is sometimes through our proud display of manliness that we most glorify him, as we ought to praise him with all our soul, spirit, mind, body, and strength! Glory to god, and keep up the good poetry, my friend. |
