I Have No Roses To Bring

I have no roses to bring, no cards nor candy or other pretty little things.

I only have my love for you on this special day; my love born on angels wings.

In the stores everywhere I see the hearts and flowers and the candy too.

Yet I have none of these, though they are very sweet…I just have my eternal love for you.

The flowers given, they so soon fade away; the candy gets eaten and the cards get put into a drawer for another day.

Yet my love is forever and my heart for you my sweets is pure and true .

Thus take these simple words, look into my eyes; hear my whispers in your ear and taste the love on my lips as the say I LOVE YOU.

Happy Valentines Day My Baby Jan…I love you.
