a fittingly feline series of objective correlatives packed between the conjunctions of this lugubrious bromide that skirts the shadows of superstition before coalescing in the charm of a unity that puts the cat in catatonic (and I mean that only in the sense that this 'cat' verse is 'a tonic'...)
Hey, we wouldn't be poets if we couldn't play with words!
Peace, Mercy and Love to you, dear Vivian

The eternal question I suppose, pause or play. Do we take the risk of rejection or remain silent. Is the outcome to be I, or myself and thee? Pity we do not have the luxury of a nice Cost/Benefit Analysis.

I have never been superstitious about black cats, especially after my encounter with a ferrel black cat. Everytime, I mean everytime, I am upset or in a deep quandry about some situation going on in my life, this same black cat shows up to my door. I believe she is the spirit of my Grandmother (Nana) that I was so close to. Each time I see the cat, I know what to do about my situation, it's like she sends me calmness and answers..I love it, I know I can count on this cat every time. It's wild but true.
Much peace, love and light, for making me think of my black cat with your beautiful poem.

Unlike some, I think black cats bring good luck. A jet black kitten found me on a business trip to Montgomery, Alabama several years ago, and I snuck him on the plane ride home. Monty was a true treasure in our home for many years.

Eh, it's whatever fairy tale or horror tale we believe, tight? The black cat has a long and sullied tales told about it, witches, etc. I don't believe in superstitious fairy tales. Well, except for walking under ladders and stepping on cracks in the sidewalk.
