| This has the air of all those stories we read as kids but with a modern twist. No wicked witch this time, just a king with a wandering eye. Of course it ends well and we all like a happy ending, don't we. |

| ...a vista's visage...more than mere mirage...a virtual haven of haloed heaven...haunted only by the vestige of one whose pale virtues daunt and disappoint... but your poem does not... rare and radiant imagery fringes these finessed lines and puts more than a varnish of value to the sentiments... giving them a sentience all their own... a life sentience that can never end... rare and radiant... |

I find myself damning the king and asking why, why of the princess and queen. I shall find contentment with the hopeful ending.
