Once a screech owl came down my chimney, twice, during a gale. The owl politely, and very lightly, sat on the end of my broom as I thrust him out into the storm again.
I went on a trip around the world. When I returned, an owl had been in my house so I blocked the chimney. Before long, I heard scratching, and removed the panel releasing the owl once more. Unfortunately, while I was away again, the owl tried once again to come in the house and was found dead trying to get through the panel. I hope it's mate didn't suffer the same fate.

| In keeping with musical convention you have achieved a lyrical and tranquil quality with this piece. The gentle pace and subdued imagery is just right. |
