Conversing with my Guardian

Please rest my guardian Angel
from your duties at bay for you
have served me well tucked
safely under your loving wings
in the spirit world of benevolence

Floundering through my
journey of life having felt
you ever present in my right
or left choices knowing I am
the better with guidance in
my celebration of living without
judgement, but rather a learning
curved existence for roads taken
slightly off center

(c) Conversing with my Guardian

"Make yourself familiar with
the angels, and behold them
frequently in spirit; for without
being seen, they are present
with you." -- St. Francis de Sales

Your poem reminds me of words from my childhood regarding guardian angels, "Every night be at my side, to light, to guard, to rule and guide." I think that was to take care of the roads taken slightly off centre.

She is always with you Vivian, they are always there at every turn never needing the rest we wish for them. No person should ever be judged, we are all on a path of learning. We are good loving souls and we learn along the way.

Lovely prose just lovely!
