Just my mind rambling.........

Where is your heart

Where's your mind

Does the music still remind you

of lost loves from old times

Do you replay

those emotions time and again

or have you let go

to let a new love in

Does that love still haunt you

have you told it goodbye

or

do you still look for her smile

when you look me in the eye

Choices made

 are sometimes hard to accept

But they must be kept

if the love of another

is to be kept.

Love can run deep

like a fresh stream under you feet

soothing and warm

unless you choose to live

for simply flesh

and pride

There is more to loving someone

than just in the making

its being there through all

that life has to offer

Strong for the other and

desiring no other

So I ask you now

Where do we stand?

In a soothing warm stream

or in a rapid cold tide

soon to be washed away

I leave it with you

you decide..

Yes, Tina. Love is complicated at times. I do not claim to ever have figured out the way it flows and at times, where it goes. Thank you. Love and peace to you,

To be loved in spite of yourself is a goal most strive for. So many people - so many are alone. It's amazing that in the middle of a megalopolis people can still die of lonliness.

Bittersweet and well written ...

Marvelous write Tina and one that has to be made if love is to blossom and last through all that life throws at it.

Sometimes an old love refuses to take their memory when they go, you can love again but never quite the same, sad part is you can't control it, either need to painfully accept or walk away.

Good write Tina,
