Out of kilter,
Under the weather,
Not too perky,
Trying to keep
My head above water

Have seen better days,
My tail is draggin',
And, Lady Luck has not
Been smiling upon me lately

But, I am here with you in
Spirit and friendship, still
Trying to write a few reviews
In spite of  my nemisis,
Overwhelming FATIGUE and lethargy

Hang in there with me
My fellow poets,
Don't give up on me yet
For to lose your alliance
Would be a blow NOT
To recover from!

I think of you daily
Reading your words of splendor
As I tread my way uphill
To be among you once again.

An alphabet is a necessity for a poet!
but likened to Chicken Soup for healing,
it is also a must for our Dear Lady Joy!

Please know that you are missed when you
do not appear with all your encouraging
words of praise for others.......So, I

Dear friend, Joy....Mere words cannot describe the sympathy and concern I feel for you in your struggle to cope with so many health problems. I miss our phone chats so much but I understand the strain you endure just to concentrate on chit-chat while enduring vertigo, malaise, and so many other maladies. Please know that you are sorely missed on AD by your many friends. Your rain-check on the promised visit will always be valid. Meanwhile, Sis and Jim will be there in spirit for you and constant prayers for your recovery are sent to the Almighty on your behalf. Just(very concerned)Jim.

Joy, dear friend, could it be possible that I'm at a loss for words? I was hoping that you are feeling better. O, how the days and nights drag by when relief refuses to come! I hear and feel your pain in every word of your poem. We have 'been there' together so many times over many years. I pray that our Heavenly Father will give you rest and peace this night. I love you, Joy, and thank God for so many precious memories of our times together. May they come again! Marge

Sorry you are ailing, Joy. I have no experience with what you have, and I hope I never do, it sounds horrible. I guess the closet I've come to what you have is a time or two of some self-inflicted depression, but they didn't last too long. Get well.
