THE DARK TOWER PART SEVEN

Invisible furls inspected secrets withdrew,

I felt my zing had restarted.

All the virtue that I possess from school,

Seemed to desert me and forcefully parted.

Depressed at conflict going on inside,

Heart now mangled by banshees.

Tear ducks stopped darkness slide,

I would never again be free.

How you fold so easily my friend,

You’re mine like the mysterious rolling waves.

No victory as you had intended,

Meet the hellish wails of my slaves.

A Somber eerie sheen lay over the landscape,

Clouds seemed to twine into claws.

Rampant vortex lashed, almost to rape,

Curdling mizzle chiseled and tore.

So a vision lay awesome amongst the land,

Riders swept never releasing their grip.

Rumblings intensified nothing would stand,

Town folk thrown to the pit.

My mind was confused I dropped to my knees,

I had failed in thy quest.

Damp and despondent in the attacking breeze,

Shallow vapors started to feast.

Twilight would rule for many years,

Until a boy tossed into the mixer.

Nurtured by caring piers,

A wizard reborn into the elixir.

Was this my son I did not know?

My corpus was just a shell.

For me I had nothing to show,

Just a spirit with the hounds of hell.
