You Are There Though I walk in the shadow of doubt and despair,You are there lighting my path. I face the fear of abandonment and loneliness, yetYou are there, my constant, unswerving companion.In anxious trembling I look at all I may lose and allI may never have, but always, you are there filling my every need. Looking outward for a gentle touch, a kind word, A friendly smile, again I find deep within, Unchangeable, and without judgement, you are there Loving me.
