OUR FATHER

Our father showed us great strength.

Our father was indeed a blessing, from God.

Our father helped establish the importance of God in our lives.
Our father led us in prayer before our meals.
Our father made sure we understood the Christ in Christmas.
Our father was indeed a blessing, from God.

Our father placed his sons and daughters before self.
Our father didn’t hesitate to correct us when correction was necessary.
Our father was there when we needed him,
whether at our schools, our homes, or our military.
Our father was indeed a blessing, from God.

Our father directed us when we were children,
and suggested to us when we became adults.
Our father set examples that we still draw on to this day.
Our father was loaned to us by God, and now,
God has chosen to call our father home to him.
Our father was indeed a blessing, from God.
