WYSIWYG People

Probably we all know people like this. The honest no nonsense types. Enjoy

WYSIWYG People

Have you ever met one of those wysiwig people,
Maybe gruff and honest, ideals as high as a church steeple,
A handshake so firm it grips like a vice,
Someone you can turn to for honest advice,

With a wysiwyg person you know where you stand,
They’ll keep their word with a shake of the hand
A smile like sunshine, a glint in the eye,
When a friend is needed they’re standing by,

If you need telling, they’re not afraid to do that,
Just as quickly they’ll just stop and chat,
A friend by your side come night or day,
Wysiwyg people, I’m glad God Made them that way,

You may say what does wysiwyg mean. From where does it come,
It’s an old computer persons phrase, for what they have done,
It stands for, What You See Is what You Get,
So in talking about people it can mean well met.
