Snowdrop Windflower
By Handsum-Hart
Pretty lady, in ways of many
Like a Snowdrop Windflower
You are
When placed in soil, with grace
Does this flower, bud and bloom
But this cannot compare
With the grace
In the movements you make
Each time you plant yourself deeply
Into my soil-rich arms
And start to bud and bloom
Like a woman forever in love
Greek mythology, attributes this flower
To a beautiful youth named Adonis
Who had an affair
With a goddess named Aphrodite
But I attribute this flower
To you, a woman of beauty
Who is easily more beautiful than a goddess
And she who had an affair with me
That was so romantic
It made Adonis and Aphrodite
Weep uncontrollably with jealousy
Snowdrop Windflowers and daffodils
When combined together
Without the intrusion of other flowers
Spread a blanket of cheery color
That is magnificent to behold
But this takes a backseat
To you and me
Whom when combined together
In intimate privacy
Spread a blanket of cheery love
That is heavenly magnificent
For our hearts to behold
Henceforth, pretty lady
Proudly my vocal cords, shall call you
My Snowdrop Windflower

Sweetly romantic and symbolic; I can visualizing you singing below your lady's window, Ron. Thanks for sharing. Love and peace,
