The Waters of Heaven and Earth
By Handsum-Hart

Allow me to doll you up
In silk stockings, stiletto heels
And a royal purple dress
Then take you
Across The Pacific Ocean
By way of speedboat
To coastal shores of China
And under the cover of nightfall
Let us do the sexy dance
“The Flamenco Rumba” all night long
Across the nightclubs of Hong Kong

Meet me on the roof of Africa
And let us make a raft
By tying five logs together
Then float down the River Nile of Egypt
As I pluck lotus flowers
From its red waters
And adorn your hair
With these fragrant symbols of beauty
That remind me, of the soft beauty
Blooming in your heart

Grab your swimsuit and come play
Romantic water games with me
And let us show our love
For each other
To all of the winged citizens
Who live above the sky
By sliding rings made of angelic gold
Onto each other's finger
As we exchange wedding vows
While standing underneath
The waterfalls of Jamaica
That cascade into the Caribbean Sea

But most importantly
After our earth time has expired
Let our souls hold hands
And float as soul-mates
Into "The Lake of Love"
Known as Heaven
And give a teary-eyed kiss to God
And thank him, for allowing us
To spend eternity together
Swimming in the waters
Of forever loving bliss

I agree with Cynth'ya, Ron. This is a romantic and tender piece, and for sure, "The World Is A Lovers' Playground" as Cynth'ya said. :P Thank you for sharing.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom youlove, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your sister, Barbie

HH, I've always enjoyed reading your romantic poems -- they usually made me smile and I loved the 'cute' aspect of most of them -- but this shows a maturity and a deep appreciation for 'love bestowed and enjoyed'...something more lasting.

Well done.
