What Will You Be To Me?
By Handsum-Hart

Will your voice in song
be a sparrow with tender tune
sent from above the sky
to lullaby my embattled soul

Will your heart
be the teacher
that teaches me
how to get all A's
in the class of loving you

Will your unborn kisses
be earthshaking moments
of loving passion
birthed on my lips
lived in my heart
retired in my dreams
and buried
still breathing in my soul

Will your eyes
be the mournful weepers
pouring spic-and-span tears
of cleansing water upon me
after misery
has thrown dirt on my dreams

Will your flirtatious body
be the erotic kingdom
I rule over
with slick licks of tender lust

Will your beauty
be my island of enchantment
secluded amidst the clouds
overflowing with trees
brimming with golden delicious apples
filling me with the sweet taste
of 7th Heaven
with each bite, of your
golden delicious beauty

Will your soul
be my Lamb of Love
soft-hearted, compassionate
and fair-spoken
like Christ - the Lamb of God

What will you be to me?

I am one with Vanessa, in that you had better
be careful that you don't get what you wish for!
Ha! A "romantic" you are? Yes...in capital letters.

Wow, HH, this - filled with imagination transformed into molten verbal gold - reminds me of the love poems written a few centuries ago! I'd like to challenge you: please write about what you would be to her. :)
