I know a man who eats his lies
And tells me that I should eat mine,
He mocks me for the truth I tell
And my preference for cheap wine.

Eating lies would seem to be very dietary and don’t we all need a little self control when it comes to our diet?

I’ve a Dick-idiom which I think might apply here.
