The photographer
Aimed his camera out the window,
Trying to catch the perfect view.
He was in the room where he had made
Tumultuous, passionate love to the woman watching him
For most of the day.
The photographer took hundreds of pictures,
But not one of the woman he had made love to.

Most women just won't let you. In the days of camera film, I wonder how many photo's he would have taken?
This has an eerie twist. ...to the woman watching him for most of the day! A mysterious woman and, where had she been watching him before he got her in to the room? Or was it her room. Or is my mind just working overtime. lol Yet all is not as it seems on first read.

She was probably hot and steamy and every feature was indelibly burned into his memory..... no need for photo's. Besides, to paraphrase,,,, great sex is worth a thousand photo's....(or even 10,000) Dick

A much chosen irony (fashioned differently by different people) that suggests how far the human psyche stretches to identify itself... obviously above and beyond the habit of love making.

That just about says his thoughts on the woman he made love to, you would think he would wish to capture that beauty. But ah, was this a tumultuous, passionate love made in the mind of this photographer? For the one he wishes to have watched him? Did he perhaps take hundreds of pictures in hopes to capture the experience of his mind? :)

Wonderful write Jerry, not only do you continue to paint those lovely pictures you also manage to create thought for the reader's inquiring mind :)
