wrote this one this morning while on a three hour drive a jobsite.

There are those of such worth
that where they have crossed paths
leaves indelible markings
for all to see and feel.

Then be we the pensive
who's tracks are left in sand
scattering in the blow
of old Mariah's breath.

N'een as thought left behind
be this spirit's lament
or was it merely thus
the skein of our life, writ.

A prayer on bended knee
*Budd* for silent wisdom

"Those of such worth," then those have impressed others, "then be we the pensive" the meek who fear and in hushed silence are not heard but only unto themselves. And then lament within their soul.

Lovely Budd, written so well and artfully. It should be placed on a card laminated and put in your pocket.

This has such an unbelievable depth, fantastic.
“Those of such worth” leave indeed indelible markings along their path, but don’t we do all in our own unique way.
We all leave traces along our path as a remembrance of who we were and what we did.

Beautiful Budd, to speak with Jane, this has to be carved out in marble

Wait! You're making me crazy with this one!! This needs to be engraved into blue clay and baked......oh, yes!

Love ya!

Budd, if I had to choose a favored line, I could not do so. It reads as one of the famous writers' works of another time. You are indeed, gifted in word and thought.

Okay guy, 'nuff said about how you are just an amateur and can't hold a candle to the likes of the poets on AD. I love the hell out of this . . .

"scattering in the blow
of old Mariah's breath." . . . One of my all-times favorite songs.

Another depth of pursuit unearthing buried thought, long forgotten, urgently needed today. "...or was it merely thus the skien of our life, writ." Indeed.
