The Philadelphia Phillies WON the World Series…

Something to do,
Watched the game,
Tampa Bay strong,
But not quite strong enough…
Finally a team from Philly did win,
The Eagles have been in the Super Bowl,
But did not win, they still have this goal…
So congrats to the Phillies,
The neighbors acting silly,
I bet the city is going nuts,
Especially near the park,
In South Philly, even Rufuz did bark…

I used to watch baseball about 10 years ago, I've watched it loyally for a long time, but have not been following it during the recent years since the players have changed.
But it is always exciting to know that your favorite group wins the World Series.

My second oldest sister used to live in Philly, bet she's going bonkers right now. But then again, she lives near Boston, so I don't know. LOL Congratulations to the Phils!

I have not been following baseball as of late so I did not watch. Thanks for letting us know. Good for Philadelphia, if it couldn't be the Dodgers, I am glad it is the Phillys.
