2 miles on the beach…

Tomorrow is going to rain, but today was PERFECTION personified...

The first mile out,

No pain did I feel,

But on the way back,

Oh my did my back & legs from pain, reel…

But a beautiful day did I experience,

Light winds from the southeast,

Off the ocean it came like a sea beast,

To cover the beach but I didn’t take any offense…

The sky a blue with thickening clouds,

The best time of year right now, no crowds,

Four doggies I got to pet & with play,

I swear on that beach, I wish I could stay…

Life's a beach! But if you marry her you have to put up with the breeze. Patrick

I love the beach but it is so cold here today that even thermal undies and an artic parka would still not keep one warm enough for even a short stroll. Glad you enjoyed yours.

Excellent. Now today, go for three miles on the beach in the rain! (It rained here all night, so it's headin your way.)

Envy you that 2-mile walk, Ed. If there's a heaven on earth,
it's on the beach, with your toe in the sand and the sound
of the surf soothing the old mind. -gene,
