Piggy backing over New York City...

Today in New York city,

And what amazing thing did I see,

Something I thought quite altogether pretty,

A jet with the Enterprise on top,

Gonna make in many a city a stop...

From the future it came,

Looking from TV the same,

I guess this poem is kind of lame,

Never did I say it was good,

Only TOO IT do I lay my claim...

So look up into the sky,

Do I have to tell you why,

If I do you'll make me sigh,

Wish a house built like the Enterprise I could buy...

Live long and prosper, so that you can see from the bridge of the spaceship of your dreams. Lame poem or no poem.

Hah! You'd fit right into the Enterprise house, Ed. That was meant as a compliment, in case you are wondering. Some thing never die. The Enterprise and its crew are just one of those things.

ED ... GREAT PIC!

ABOUT 27 YEARS AGO, WHEN MY SON WAS ABOUT 13 - I BOUGHT HIM A METAL SCALE MODEL OF THE 'ENTERPRISE' ... IT HAD ABOUT A DOZEN LITTLE YELLOW PLASTIC DISCS THAT YOU LOADED INSIDE. TURN A CRANK ON TOP, AND ... ZAP -
THEY SHOT OUT LIKE BULLETS ...

SHOULD BE WORTH SOME MONEY TODAY ... DID HE SAVE IT? NO CLUE!
