Our doors did not need a lock,
As kids we ranged 93 blocks,
Never did we worry about clocks,
As kids the town was one big family,
We had our own boats,
And swam off varied docks...
We went to school in our little town,
Now the kids are to other towns bound,
No longer is there to be a Sea Isle City school,
The town may be a thriving place,
But personally I feel it is being run into the ground...
Bars, drunks & group rentals,
Making the almighty dollar is the towns fundamental,
To see how my hometown has grown,
Does only for me cause pain,
It really is to & for all such a sinful shame...
