Perchance to take flight,
To the heavens out of sight,
No longer to see the ground,
Skyward bound…
To view what others cannot see,
This is the life for me,
For survival, this is for me, key,
It is my personal philosophy…
To see the stars,
From their level, rather than ours,
Our vision not marred,
All this and more is to be a bard…

| I'm the Bard of the Teton, only because nobody else has claimed the designation. It's kind of like being the Emperor of the North Pole, only without the prestige. In Montana, sometimes we drink alone and sometimes with our sheep. |

Escaping what is here only to see what others cannot hmmm, a solitary soul preferring seclusion to survive. Solitude in order to view what others cannot see can have it's perks. A time in meditation at "their" level not ours. Just like the minstrel celebrating the greats he wishes to know.
Very interesting and thank you I enjoyed this read

I truly believe that to be a bard, poet, novelist, or just a teller of stories we only need our hearts and imagination....we write and allow time to judge us.
