A day at the beach anywhere in the world.

A Vision


 


As I lay back


On a lazy summer day—


Sand beach, salt spray, fresh air


Gently rolling surf,


You are there,


A vision in my mind—


One step forward


Never behind.


For if you were


One step behind.


I could never see


Your vision—


In my mind.
