Cinnamon
listen to the waves
gently consoling the shore
strokes of love
and forget-me-nots
liquid fingers
massaging smooth
our footprints
and
memories
I could take you
to the woods
and wander paths
to nowhere
under sweet smelling
evergreens
who are always open
to company
but afternoon coffee
and conversation
has a way
of
drawing us closer
and the sun
bakes us
new memories
on this cinnamon
afternoon

| Relaxing and full of warmth. I could actually feel myself exhale. Thank you. |
