Sometimes You Forget

Have you ever seen how a prism reflects the light broken out into the visible spectrum? Have you ever wondered why?

Sometimes you forget what's in a word or phrase…

or what it means to smile or let laughter bring out the light.

And sometimes you forget what's in a simple touch…

or what it means to listen or let passion rule the mind.

It's the simple pleasure of looking at a fuzzy photograph…

of remembering how it feels to be truly in the moment.

It's the joy of millions  of colors and a few snaps of the shutter…

memories created by fate preserved by the power of love.

I appreciate the rich humanness in here. Who can not relate to the millions of colors from the snap of the shutter when looking at a loved one through any amount of fuzziness? Very well presented. I like your choice of meaningfulnesses.....a smile....and listening -- more wealth and gift than the Hope Diamond for sure. ~~ Diana
