Sounds take on new meaning Lonely lull of the wind Quiet hum through the leaves Smells bring different thoughts Burned incense in a teak Night rain on the soft breeze Sights show fresh memories Turning leaves in autumn Yellow crops in dried fields All things sting unhealed wounds Slowly the pain subsides And the cloud is lifting Life is moving forward I, in its wake, follow Awaking from a dream
