| This poem makes me think of experiences my own daughters have gone through recently. Trusting our heart to the care of another is a foolish, wonderful, courageous thing to do. The nature of love itself is risk--God risked the eternal fellowship of his son when he sent him to earth robed in the fragility of flesh. To love is to risk. There is no pain so powerful as love disappointed. I'm glad you printed the disclaimer (not personal, etc.)else I would have asked you his name. (not really :-) Authenticity rules in this poetic piece. |

Spoken of many lives, when dominance "tries" to rule1
I enjoyed"MY KING"
downright life filled with depth of honest feelings shared!
Being a Taker is not for me either, a giver - gives from the heart and wants too, without any strings attached and when "YOU" are HAPPY! THEY are HAPPY Truthfully and not in a fake kind of way!
STay Positive!
WRITE ON!

| Yes, freedom can be more important than love, unless you have met your soulmate and then you enjoy 'freedom' together. best wishes! |
