Your muse shall sparkle like the sun on the sea
If your willing with a little plea
To take her hand and dance a bit
If you refuse you will see such a fit
No pen shall write or thought flow out
Which will leave you with chilling doubt
Stomp and pout there upon the sea
Throwing out tantrums for no fee
So dance with her and your days shall shine
Nights you will savor like fine wine
This lesson I learned and how hard it was
Your muse already loves you just because
*wink*
Now what my friend, as your muse is poised for a storm at sea :) |

When I feel uninspired, I take pencil and paper and write down the things I did that morning, or the day before. Plans for the weekend, etc., sometimes I write a grocery list for an imaginary dinner. Something sparks my imagination. And maybe it doesn't turn into a short story, or poem right then and there, but eventually it does.

| All I can offer is empathy. Have you looked under the sofa? Muses have been known to hide under there along with the remote. |
