...trying to find the light again

i long to trace
the silken softness of thy face;
with each finger as i linger full on thee
the perfect contour of thy lips
with deft embrace
of the tip of my longing tongue
that i might drink a breath of thee
and be enveloped in thine endless sea --
answer to my inmost inquiry
spoken only in thine own sweet depths..
that thou might hide away my soul
inside thy very sanctity

imbibing every drop of me…
and i… of thee

oh flawless shadow
which only i… can truly see

thou art my subtle sustenance
fulfilling me in ways in which before… i dared not hope to know
the lifeblood of my vision’s inner eye that sees thy perfect glow
for i now taste ambrosia only true st gods have ever known
surrounded by the comfort of your protective shield of love
i am become a part of thee; a sentient breath – thy very own
my angel of rebirth; from gilded heights so far above

thy essence ever touches me;
my core engraved by scripted fire of thee
and i am graced to bear thy silent seal
in aching throbs of needful fervent zeal

my cloak of night is burned away by brilliance of thy light
bejeweled with thee… consuming me
in thy encapsulation
each moment held aloft in time, ‘mid feral consummation

i beg of thee to learn with me
how boundless that our love can be
fierce in flight amid the erosphere
aloft in tones… the two of us alone can hear

my love… to set thee free;
thy love… to rescue me.

Women will love this. However, I will take the lesser path and stick my tongue in fine wine. ;-)

Shakespearian Rapture! This would be a masterpiece of a script for any playwrite to adapt into a modern-day Romeo & Juliet on stage...these lines are fit for Montague's and Capulet's! I would love to hear these lines reverberating in a theatre full of Renaissance-dressed-coiffed fans who paid a week's wages and entered a night in the Concentric Convergence, the first play of Mason's Millenium! Great write fit for theatrical dialogue, Jeff...

Warmly,
Sage
