Romance ? Well yes but also FUN!!
As you willl see I am not good at satire and since this was written a very long time ago. This is here for enjoyment only

I just found this one.  I was surprised sorting through a very old stack of writing, including ancient stuff.  This was written on January 7, 1970!!!  It turned out, it was turned in to English in High School and I was graded 70%.  **Grin**
Have fun with this one.

Oh I See.

Oh say can you see
Through the smoke and the fog
Your
own true love's window
Whom you adore?

Oh why, may I ask
are your eyes watering?
Is it because you cannot
wait til she is by
your side?

No! You say this is not why
your eyes are so bright
Then tell me why
you look so in love?

Oh! I see
It's the smoke and the fog
That burns your eyes bright.

Even for the teacher I commented at the bootom, "As you can see I'm not good at satire."

Comments and pokes of fun are welcomed. I have found a number from way back in the 1970's or earlier and will post them soon

Enjoy and have fun.

Dee
