I thought of you
       This morning

As I saw the silver sliver of the moon
Etched against the dark velvet sky
A sharp blue white crescent

Missing was the
     Flirtatious twinkling
Of the star that sometimes dances
     At its side

Noting that
     I thought of you.

I like this. It is short, simple, yet engaging. I hope to read more.
