The pain you feel when love dies; Hurts so bad you could cry. I felt that way for so long; And you just went your separate way. My heart was breaking; Almost in two, It was so hard to get through the day. The only time you called was to hurt me; And that you did oh so well. Then another lonely heart came into my life And helped me find another way to cope; With the loss of the love I once had. And now I find I want to live.... With him by my side, yes I'll be his bride; I know he'll never hurt me like you tried. For he is oh so sweet and loving; And needs me more than you ever could. So there!
