Having had some great, and tragic experiences in life, I feel I have something poignant to say.
There has been so many times in my past;
When I thought I would never get through.
'Grief', instead of going, would last and last;
And I had no other I could turn to.
Yes, at those time I prayed; Lord how I prayed;
But no consolation came.
Still optimistic, I went on through my life;
Depending on myself, alone, just the same.
But on some occasions, a light it did shine;
And this I tell you quite literally!
Though tragic times have come hurting so bad;
I know there was always an Angel with me!
Escaped many dangers, I tell you the truth;
Blown up in a gas explosion.
A miracle escape in a car accident;
And attacks, with fist and knife too!
The light that I saw, on a very dark night;
Had an angelic person within.
I felt no fear, but great love towards me;
From an Angel, or Jesus, was it him?
Many more times I've had proof of my vision.
And I know that the bad times are meant;
For in just getting through and not giving up,
Makes us stronger with more love to give and to send!

|Came to see who Paul's wife was. Love the way you express yourself!
Angels..Hmmmm. I see that I am not the only one who believes in them!
But I would be so lucky to see one, or two!
Seriously, I think the Angel's would have stepped in, if they saw that you had lost the strength to carry on!
Reminded me of the poem about 'The Footsteps', when Jesus was there but the man just saw one set of prints in the sand. (That's when Jesus was carrying him!)
Lovely to read! Your poem as well, I mean!

|Excellent poem and yes there are angels in life that protect us. They have done so for me during ww11 and since. God looks over us and for what ever reasons, he spares our lives.|
