When going up is not good

A phobia is different to a fear of something. Fear can be rational.


 

My feeling is down, when I'm going up;
the escalator in any store.
I fear the worst when it gets to the top;
As my shoe or foot might get caught.

I steady myself, the best that I can;
but still wobble all over the place.
An arm has been offered by many a man;
All due to the alarm on my face.

But even so, my panic is great;
and I just can not go with the flow.
Whatever I do, I simply just hate;
Escalators, wherever I go.

I know just what you mean, I actually have a phobia about people, I can't stand it when people are to close to me. I liked the bit of humor as well. Jan
