Havin' one man can be pretty tough;
But tryin' to keep two is more than enough.
It's a wonder any girl can take the strain.
I think I'm gonna have to start enjoyin' pain.
You may begin to think that life for me is fun;
Sometimes I know I'd change my plae with, anyone.
'Cos I got double trouble; double trouble;
But I only hope my trouble's gonna last.
Now havin' two men I can pick and choose;
One's gonna win and the other's gonna lose.
One goes out and then the other comes in;
Then I like to change 'em round an do it all again.
Thing's are movin' pretty fast and gettin' pretty hot.
I think I'll kiss 'em both goodbye and save myself a lot.
Of all this, double trouble, double trouble;
It's gonna kill me if I make it last.
We keep rockin' twenty-four hours a day;
Each takin' turns while the other is away.
Someday soon I know they'll both find out;
What I keep a secret, what it's all about.
Until that day comes, I'll have 'em running round;
And keep whatever happiness that I have found.
'Cos I got double trouble, double trouble.
I only hope my trouble's gonna last!
