Dedicated to a sweet friend, a true gioia in my life.

The rhythm of our friendship has infinite variations

From stranger to kindred spirit we flow in the sea of this life

Discovery and exploration comprise the energy of this movement

Adventures commence, as we become co-conspirators on the path

Determined to push the boundaries and limits of narrow definitions

Set in place by a society who marches solidly to a step out of time

The unknown becoming resoundingly familiar - precious moments taking root,

Intimacies of heart, mind and soul yearning for expression and validation

This evolution from stranger to sweet friend complex, yet rewarding

Challenging, comforting, scintillating, evocative – in liberal measures

Ingredients of our choosing, carefully melded into this delectable simmering pot

True to each other this sweet friendship has a rhythm we’ve created…one I adore.

Rose,
Again your talent shows with this write as well as your wisdom about friendships and building them together. Veru true how as strangers people meet and from there build a friendship that finally is not two people acting as two but two acting as one.
Keep your pen damp with ink as you have only touch a small part of your hidden talnets.

Good for you Rose! We shouldn't put such important relationships
as friendships in a mold of prohibition. Our friendships should be based on what's best for us and what we agree upon without concern for critics or those who are too conformist to understand.
