Looking back to times when laughter came easy And so came the tears As a child I accepted all people, all things But now, I question all that surrounds me And I wonder if it's real. I wish I could again accept Not blindly as a child But assuredly Knowing all has its purpose whether good or bad.

I'm sure there's a purpose of some sort to existence in general, and surely some point to it, even if it does seem elusive and nebulous. Good luck with your search.
