~Still with Life
Laugh with me
My orphaned rose petal children
Dally with uproarious wind, settle on my window sill
And I’ll gather your withered bloom
Auras red, yellow and sallow white
In baskets by my feet
Old dog dreaming
Dream of me
Under ash branch
Sharing your shade, sweet symphony of faultless sleep
As we curl on soft grass
Lost in perfection
Cling to me
Spider web laced beneath wheelbarrow
Dew adorned, death enrapt
Spin your tenacious silk
In symmetry between knee to knee
From ankle to my heart in mystery
Natured, nurtured portrait out this window
Consume my fantasy
Standing, watching
Behind sheer blues, breezy . . .
Contemplating
A moment of sanity, moment of sanctity
Come blossom in infinite colors
Give birth to me

| I adore the reitterating in this piece. You repeat sounds, images, and lead-in's, and it makes music. I like how your lines, though seemingly dis-jointed, fit together smoothly. There are no colorless words. They all have deep meaning and visuals. --Charlie |
