Neighbors helping neighbors around the world

a dark day one cries two, three cries one by one the city cries

help is on the way as we give and as we pray to relieve your hurting souls there has got to be a better day soon

water can heal water can kill water can save your life water can cleanse your soul how precious and precarious

wind can offer a breath of fresh air wind can uproot a huge tree wind can cool you on a hot day wind can blow your house down how significant and dangerous

lifted up heads and hands babies being born as others lay to sleep peace is on our mind as we weep and pray for you

neighbors helping neighbors to rebuild a city a life a love, a legacy one day at a time

lose everything you will gain it back lose one soul and the memories are with you forever

you might ask me what do I know I know the sun rise in the morning the sun set in the evening the stars shine bright at night and God sees everything from above

I know that everything must change because nothing stays the same life is a test, a series of ups and downs I know it's hard to see it at times but, change can be good

hold your head up dry your weeping eyes you are never alone nor forsaken even in the midst of your storm be it physical, emotional, or spiritual

a new day is dawning one smiles two, three smiles one by one the city smiles

again!

This poem is a depicting of - cooperation (Bricks) building bridges of understanding and humanity - as a towel for "The City Cries".

I have enjoyed the reading of "The City Cries", and learned wise a lesson.

Never rest Your pen, sublime Poet!
