Watch Me Now

You've had it your way!

Move over! Watch me now! Watch this!

This inspires me when I'm having a bad hair, any way
you name it, day. I want it to do the same for you.
When you're having a down day, it's your day when you
lift someone else up! I had fun writing this one.

It's my day
It's my week
It's my month
You've had it your way too long

What goes around comes around
I'll be a better person
I won't treat you the way you treated me
I forgive you

I'm living life on my own terms
I am so happy and having so much fun
Can't you see
The smile on my face

Like a lighthouse
Shining from sea to sea, I'll guide you
Jagged rocks, icebergs, there's a storm up ahead
Stop being so stubborn

It's my year
It's my way
It's my time
You've had it your way too long

Share the spotlight
Move over, I'm following my bliss!
Watch me now!
Watch me now!

Watch this!
Watch this!

YES!!!! I needed to read this more than I can express. Emancipating oneself from a selfish union is like coming
alive again after a very long coma. Bravo to you for
writing it so perfectly!!
Be well

When one synchronizes wonders one finds the tools to complete the
tasks of life and drink the nectar of bliss.

"Watch Me Now" leads to the fountain of accomplishment of the soul,
and sings with the voice of love.

I salute You, Poet!

Thanks so much for an early new year's message. It's worth memorizing for those times when I ask myself "How much is too much?" (tolerance, that is.) (smile)

Wonderful feelings are expressed in your verses, Pier. There comes a time when we realize that, though we love someone, we must start living life for ourselves or face the sadness of never reaching our dreams. I have always wondered why too many relationships are so limiting that the dreams of two can't meld, so that all the dreams can be shared by both. Sadly, it is rarely the case, but neither should ever let go of the persuit of their own dreams and their own happiness even if they have to realize them alone.
Take care,
Sherry
