YES!!!! I needed to read this more than I can express. Emancipating oneself from a selfish union is like coming
alive again after a very long coma. Bravo to you for
writing it so perfectly!!
Be well |

Thanks so much for an early new year's message. It's worth memorizing for those times when I ask myself "How much is too much?" (tolerance, that is.) (smile)

Wonderful feelings are expressed in your verses, Pier. There comes a time when we realize that, though we love someone, we must start living life for ourselves or face the sadness of never reaching our dreams. I have always wondered why too many relationships are so limiting that the dreams of two can't meld, so that all the dreams can be shared by both. Sadly, it is rarely the case, but neither should ever let go of the persuit of their own dreams and their own happiness even if they have to realize them alone.
Take care,
Sherry |
