What a powerful write! The comparisons you made in this poem enhanced and amplified the story you were telling. We can never truly grow until- we take responsibilty for ourselves, where we are now.
Great expression of a universal truth.

Pier, you make such a courage-giving statement here...wonderful message! one needs to realize what one has is all that matters and a change in outlook may well do the trick..to have love thrown into your path like that! What could be greater?
Btw, I love your 'motto' statement too - on the bio page.

Thank you Pier, this is so sweet, and yet sad too. Sad because on ethinks life is better on the other side of the road, but then sweet too, because love has comei nto this person's life. The last two lines sums the poem up nicely tho:
you're going to be okay
right where you are
And this is so true too. Thanx Pier for sharing.
May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

I got such a heady visual from this, Pier...almost as if a scene from a movie...even facial expressions were clear in my mind as this man gets a kick of life in the nick of time....

I enjoyed this as someone helping another to see and understand something that they themselves are sometimes blind to.
The sound bite was very complimentary to your gentle thoughts.
