 Staying just within the bounds of sanity

Another hopeless night needing

Refused by you the wonder of your hands

The way you tease gently, slowly

Empty thoughts will soon consume

 Removed is my feeling, numbness remains

Silent whispers say farewell

Will you ever chance to meet with me again?

You used to come and see me regularly, like clockwork,

 I need an explanation

What is it I have done? Why do you desert me?

My sanity now questionable as the silence moves in.

Loneliness is a terrible thing; but it can produce extremely interesting poems.
