He coveted my aspirations Still, he reseves them as his own He lurked around my happiness Still provoking unclaimed tears I found tranquility within his darkness Still, I dreamt of the light... I felt the time draw near Still it hurt just the same He had the last laugh Still choking on the victory I watched as he became meek Still searching for sympathy He gazed upon my illumination As I left toward the morning star. Still, still is the night.

A sad and melancholy tale of unrequited love , and the deep soul searching involved in coming to terms with rejection and abandonment .
Self awareness comes from a number of souces and learning curves in life , the main and most important one being aware of your own inner beauty and essence , and of the Divine Deity who loves us , and is ever close in our lives ....
Just a prayer away.....*S*..... |
