Only those who welcome and honor the true king, are fit to rule the day.

Who shall save our kingdom, be the question of the day.

The fool?…the tyrant?.. the common man?

What odd game this we play.

T’is politics they call it, and matters not at all.

For those who wish to rule us, can not save us from our fall.

T’is magic things they promise, and none shall come to pass.

Not free healthcare, nor a wonderful life, nor 29 cent gas.

Shall they not end our peril? …Shall they not save the day?

Alas, it must be said once more, what odd game this we play.

For there is but one real savior, who has saved us all before.

Alas, no longer welcome here, they’ve banned him from our shore.

So chose your great deliverer, but I’ll shall kneel and pray.

Save us from these false prophets, Jesus … and this odd game we do play.

Excellent expression of the demise of our unfortunate reality in a beautifully written piece of poetry. You have eloquently expressed the dismality of what has happened while infusing much needed awareness of what was. You have fundamentally equated your writing toward God and have left those of alternate beliefs to interpret. Well done my friend.

Someone must be out there somewhere who is fit enough to rule. Things will not be cheaper though and probably it will be a mixed up year maybe even 4 mixed up years, but things will be free in the end, Freedom to be with our Lord and Savior when time comes he wants us.
