COLD VEGETABLE SOUP

Photograph taken in Ogden, Utah dinosaur park by, Theresa Jodray.

Gazpacho yelled the gecko in red
Cold vegetable soup again he said
The house lizard then turned
And went silently back to bed.

Garter snake thought what an odd fellow
Though he is quite assuredly mellow
Then the small, harmless striped snake
Turned swiftly and slithered back to bed

Gawky the awkward, ungainly goose
Went to the Garth, the court yard or garden
To swim in the pond in the moonlight
Joining Garrison his slimy goldfish friend

Gawky then turn his long necked head
As he heard silence yelled from the garter snake Fred
Hearing the rambling of the gecko in red
Cold vegetable soup again he said

And silently went back to bed…..

we were filming a video for one of my pieces last week and used cold vegetable soup for vomit - so I could not miss this. Lovely. The drama how had to have the stuff in his mouth did not think so though.

I love gazpacho. Does the Geko have a problem with gazpacho? Pity, that.

Very much fun, this piece. Definitely one to read aloud... while standing... on a fence post. *nods* Yes, beautifully energetic words.
